Hi All
Aside from Brooklin, what other manufacturers are producing new models in 1/43 white metal or resin models of American cars and trucks. I know that Motor City started producing their limited Gold Series models but, the last one was the Caddilac Limo and nothing more has been heard. I know that a few others have gone out of business since I started collecting these gems.
I have all of the Goldvarg Collection except for the '57 Olds Coupe. The Durham Classics line stopped a couple of years ago. But, I see the owner is now selling on eBay. He doesn't reply to the emails that I have sent him regarding new releases. Jerry Rettig also sells on eBay, though again I do not know if he is producing any new models in the resin Enchantment Land line.
I have several resin models (a couple of yet to be built kits too) that fit into this theme. Most are from the Enchantment Land line of models. I have the '48 Buick Roadmaster Estate, '36 Chevrolet Suburban, '47 Chrysler Town & Country Coupe, '47 DeSoto Coupe, '67 Pontiac Parisienne Convertible. I also have an '85 Ford Thunderbird Coupe and a '52 Chevrolet Styleline Convertible, both made by Record. And one last mention is the unbuilt CCC model of a '55 Ford Fairlane Convertible.
I'd like to find links to manufacturer websites. I already visit the Brooklin, Western, Victory, Milestone and Motor City sites on a regular basis but, if anyone has a link to others, I'd appreciate it. Of the following mfgs, who is still producing? Conquest ? Mini Marque 43 ? Marque One ? A&S ? Ashton ?
Some of the most sought after models that I am looking to add are :
Brooklin : '53 Chevrolet Belair
SAMS : '59 Olds 98 Coupe
Western : '60 Pontiac Convertible
Milestone : '63 Chrysler Saratoga Wagon
Milestone : '59 Chevrolet Impala Wagon
