89992 i think this is number is got subaru impreza wrc 99 r/burns r/reid #05 after that numberSmile
It's worth at least $125 right now in mint condition and if you hold onto it for five years probably double that!
hey diecast247 - how do you arrive at that value? Do you have a diecast guide or something? Just wondering. I have several cars and often wonder what the values are. I kind of go by what things sell for on ebay as a "in the ballpark" figure, that relates to a car's value.

It seems like book value doesn't equal what someone would pay, at least not very often. Which kind of leads to the discussion about whether you collect to buy and sell or just to collect. (didn't want to go down that road!)
I would base a value only very roughly on eBay because there is always someone out there who would be willing to pay more than what it sells for on eBay! You'll start seeing that model selling for $200 on internet stores in the year or so. It's getting rare. I would only sell something of value on eBay if it was on a 10 day auction and started at .99c so that you can spark some bidding wars...

It would be very interesting to know what kind of return a person could get on his money by collecting diecast cars and selling them at just the right time. For instance, if someone had bought two pieces each of every autoart diecast that ever came out, how much could he sell them for if he saved them in mint condition for say, 7 or 8 years? How much is the Goldfinger Aston Martin DB5, Ivan Stewart Toyota Baja 1000 truck, and Toyota TS020 GT1 cars worth now? I see them on eBay for $300 all the time. Back in the day you could buy them all day long for $49!
