I was wondering were people get there diecast models from 1:18 or what ever have you.

Four years ago you could walk into just about any major department store and find new diecasts in 1:18 every other month. Now it's all online. Stores want quicker turnover, which is why I used to love to wait for those little CLEARANCE stickers. If you like corvettes or camaros try Placid Specialties. 3000 Toys. Better yet, try Google and you'll be able to spend ALL your lunch money very quickly!!
I use diecastmuscle.com, diecastmusclecars.com, davezdiecast.com (from my hometown of Rochester) Nice guy, I have met him in person at his store. Ebay is a great source as well and usually cheaper than most if you wait awhile to get the cars. I usually jump on them early and then find them on Ebay down the road for lots less.... I'm always afraid I'll miss out..heh!
