Greetings Everyone - Spotcheckbilly here. My particular area of interest is in 1/43 Minichamps Formula One cars. My particular focus of research right now is concerning the "promo" models that were made in limited numbers and most often not intended for public sale. For example - the Ferrari Schumacher Candy edition, the Toyota Esso Editions (too many Michelin editions to collect!), and some of the cars that were released only in Japan. There are lots of good models in this category, but there also exist fakes so one must be both careful and informed.
My first question here - does anyone here own one of the early McLaren Schuco promo models - Hakkinen or Coulthard? I'm looking for a good clear picture of the back of the box - specifically the PMA script logo. If anyone here can provide me with a clear picture of that logo, I'd appreciate it.
I'm real interested in posting some photos of some of my cars - my collection is not all that vast, but I do have a few "goodies"! Gotta get my camera fixed or replaced as it no worky no more.
