It's just been hard to get into it again. I'm sure I'm not the hardest head out there, but I sure I've tried smashing it a few times. My mistakes have costed a few collections of mine in the past. But it is the starting and the finds that I like. My brother had a very nice and profitable collection and I enjoyed the NASCAR and the Pro-Stock and up diecast. We had that in common and that was it. When he passed away "family" wanted me to have his HotWheels collection. It was a constant reminder that he was'nt around anymore and I lost the want to collect.
I've been feeling the want again and I want to go back to my collection. WH's, Racing champs., and the few special one's. I think it's time to listen again to what's what and... enjoy. So I hope to be here alot and chat. Newest find, 97' Revell Diecast 1/64 Coca-cola # 1 Monte Carlo in it's card. Package is beat on but it's cool. I'm lookin and will post the finds as they come. Any comments or advise from anyone I'll listen to.

So sorry to hear about your brother but it sounds like a terrific collection of his was left to you....I hope you share some pics with us here. I'm also into Nascar and enjoy the replicas from Racing Champions so any you have it would also be good to see them too. Enjoy your stay with us.

Hey Thanks Junkman ,
I will try do do so soon. workin on a few things and will get some pics in. It was awhile ago 5yrs now?, but it was just bad memories mixed with the better ones. I have'nt seen either collection in 4yrs. My lil "mini" one started hear(Az.) will go into the other when I go out To Calif. soon. Hey, isn't the Racing Champs a better quality diecast then HW's? Hw's sunk the collector's breed when Vintage and Replica's started. Lets make a 1888 replica of the Morgon Silver dollar too. Ya know? Anyhow thanks Junkman for sayin Hi I've read some of ur posts UR a regular . what's ur NASCAR COLLECTION LIKE? WHAT COMPANIES?
My collection is mainly vintage 1:43 Corgi, Dinky and Matchbox. I have a lot of 1:64 stuff too (mostly older stuff). To keep shopping at Walmart interesting, I've begun collecting Hot Wheels Camaro's and Nascar diecasts. My Nascar are all loose models from brands such as Action, Revell and Racing Champions. There is no rhyme or reason to which models I buy.....more or less as I find them. I have maybe 50 or so models, so I'm pretty much a novice in that area.
