Welly's 1936 Ford Deluxe Cabriolet in 1/24 scale really stands out due to its bright chrome work contrasting sharply with its gloss black paint finish. I liked the model and '36 Fords so much so that I bought an additional copy to modify some by lowering, painting the rims red and applying "Moon eyes" decals in the engine compartment. Way back in my plastic modeling days, I traded something unremembered for a friend's-built purple '36 Ford Coupe which I thought was a cool rat rod.

The two black diecast Wellys came in a kit version, but neither feature an operable rear "rumble" seat like the plastic model.

Maybe someday I'll redo the purple one just for fun.

Thanks for looking.....

Love the cool look of the lower stance and red rims. Smile

That rat rod looks awesome!
